In1992，KoreaandChinaestablisheddiplomaticrelations.Bycoincidence，IwasinBeijingwhenthenewsofthesigningceremonywasannounced.Threeyearslater,IwenttoBeijingagain，andstudiedChineselanguageinBeijingUniversity.Withinthefollowing10years，IservedtwiceinChinaattheKoreanEmbassyinBeijing.Lookingbackto20yearsago,intheearly1990s，IrememberthatChinawasstillsomehowmysterytoforeignpeople.China’sdoorswerenotyetcompletelyopentotheoutsideworld.
Inthepast20years,thechangeofChinawasnotjustaboutstatisticnumbersandfast-emergingskyscrapersinBeijingandShanghai.TherealchangesofChinahavebeentheopenness,inclusivity,self-con？dence,aswellaswidenedinternationalview.
SuchtransitionhasbeenfoundamongChina’syounggenerations,thesocalled“post80"s”ofChina,whowerejustabout10-year-oldprimaryschoolstudentsintheearly1990s.Atthattime，theywerestilleducatedbyoldconceptionssuchas“PeacefulTransition”.Whocouldhaveimaginedthat20yearslater,thisgenerationwouldgrowup,leadanddrivetheprocessofchanges,alsostarttothinkdeeplyaboutthefutureofChinaandtheworld.
