For those who like eating outside must be in agreement that buffet sare important pans of American restaurants．During my stay in Iowa，I tried two of the Chinese Buffets and one American Buffets in all． I would like to talk about all of them respectively and share some of my ideas about them．
To be honest．although lots of the dishes in so-called Chinese But-lets like the one named Beijing Buffets could be judged as Chinese food cooked with Chinese tastes．there are still plenty of others obvious-ly served for Alnericans．For example，you can still find pizzas，ham-burgers，and salads in a Chinese Buffet．Bosses are intelligent in taking satisfactions from both Chinese and Americans．Some people say that as long as a Chinese restaurant is settled in America，then the Chinese restaurant couldn’t be formally considered as a real representation of Chinese food culture．It may not be all true．but I did hear people say-ing that one of the Chinese restaurants in Iowa．which should be cook-ing super hot and spicy Hunan dishes according to its name．trans-formed the Hunan dishes into sweet and greasy ones which obviously are designed for American people．However．buffets I tried were not that exaggerated。＄8 to ＄12 can make you a pretty good lunch in Chinese buffets where there are usually seafood．ment and vegetables．
The American Buffet I tried is named as OLD COUTRY which sounds romantic．It is surely different from that of Chinese．It is mainly 45 consisted of western food or fast food as we normally say．After many times of trying，I was still not used to some of the food there especially all those raw ones．However，I did like the experiences in OLD COUN-TRY Buffet in which I had pizzas，burgers and some salad．Waiters there were also quite funny and humorous．They would always talk to you ****** you feel like laughing when taking away the empty plates．Eating in Buffet doesn’t allow you to waste，though there is no one who would check customer’s plate one by one．In the United States，we have to always remember that we are representing Chinese people or even Chinese culture．Wasting is never a part of Chinese heritage．So just eat up everything you piek and then go to get another kind of food．This isa common rule acquiesced by the customers．
