Korean cuisine involves the use a lot of garlic(a lot more than in Thai food,Italian,Spanish or Greek cuisine),a lot of red chillies,spices such as ginger,doenjang,soy sauce and gochujang(red chilli paste). The cooking oil normally used by Koreans is sesame oil.Korean cuisine includes recipes with meat,fish,vegetables,noodles and tofu.Altogether Korean cuisine is very healthy.

韩国菜一般使用很多大蒜(用量比泰国菜、意大利菜、西班牙或希腊菜还多),大量的辣椒,还有生姜、黄酱、酱油和辣椒酱等调味品。韩国菜食用油一般使用芝麻油。韩国菜有肉菜、鱼肉、蔬菜、面条和豆腐。总的来讲,韩国菜是非常健康有营养的。

Korean cuisine has been affected by its geography(peninsula),climate(hot,humid summers and very cold winters),proximity to neighbors China and Japan. European traders also had an impact in the cuisine withthe Portuguese introduction of chili peppers to Korea in the 17th century.By the 18th century,chili peppers were already being widely used in the preparation of Korean cuisine.

韩国菜受地理位置(半岛)、气候(夏季炎热、潮湿,冬季严寒),还有近邻国家中国、日本菜式的影响。欧洲人与韩国的贸易活动也对韩国饮食产生了影响,葡萄牙人于17世纪把辣椒带到了韩国,到了18世纪,韩国菜普遍使用辣椒作为食材。
