The stones are painted with many colorful murals， and the wide square in front of the tower can accommodate thousands of people.
It is said that people would select the most robust young man and the most beautiful girl， when they worshiped the Sun God. Then they went from the Pyramid of the Sun to the altar below the Pyramid of the Moon. When they completed the whole process， they would kill the young man and the young girl to worship the great Sun God. Therefore， the road is called the“road to death”.
On both sides of the road， there was a temple. The temple no longer exists after 2000 years， only that the base of it is still there.

The Pyramid of the Moon 月亮金字塔遗址
The Pyramid of the Moon is of small size， but the construction is fine， its more than 200 steps per grade level neither the same angle. Butterfly Palace Moon Pyramid south， religious figures and dignitaries of the upper house， is the most beautiful places in town.
