Nature is so miraculous because it is always changing. No matter how many times you look at something，it is always different. Nature can bring a lot of beauty into our lives. Nature has a way of affecting our moods and it can force us to change our plans.
Natural beauty is an all-pervading presence. The universe is its temple. It unfolds into the numberless flowers of spring. It waves in the branches of trees and the green blades of grass. It haunts the depth of the earth and the sea. It gleams from the hues of the shell and the precious stone. And not only these minute objects but the oceans，the mountains，the clouds，the stars，the rising and the setting sun―all overflow with beauty.
The power to appreciate beauty not only increases our sources of happiness―it enlarges our moral nature. Beauty calms our restlessness and dispels our cares. Go into the field or the woods，spend a summer day by the sea or the mountains，and all your little perplexities and anxieties will vanish. Listen to sweet music，and your foolish fears and petty jealousies will pass away. The beauty of the world helps us to seek and find the beauty of goodness.

口语点津
Pass away是委婉语（euphemism），表示“去世”。英语中常用一些委婉语，比如将skinny（太瘦）说成slender （身材苗条），将fat （太胖）说成heavyset （身材魁梧）等。在西方，特别是西方政界，委婉语使用得更是广泛，如将“谎言”说成是strategic misrepresentations（战略性误传），将“平民伤亡”说成是collateral damage（附带损失），将“大屠杀”说成是ethnic purgation（种族净化），将“失败”说成是incomplete success（不完全的成功），将“穷人”说成是underprivileged（享受较少特权者）等。
