Situated in Linyuan Garden on the Geleshan Mountain， the Ballroom was built during the Anti-Japanese War. Had been the conference hall of the National Government， it was named Meiling Ballroom when General George C. Marshall，the special envoy of the US president，came to live in Linyuan Garden.
